Cross-Posting to Multiple Social Media Platforms

  • You can cross-post to multiple types of social media accounts, such as X and Threads. Even when cross-posting, you can vary some post content for each social media account.
tip

Instagram Stories posts do not support cross-posting.

How to Specify Post Timing

You can specify when to post using the following methods:

  • Post Now
    • Posts immediately. It will not appear in the "Scheduled Posts" list.
  • Schedule Post
    • Posts at the specified date and time. You can schedule posts up to 1 year and 6 months in advance.
  • Add to Posting Slot
    • Adds the post to the beginning of the next available posting slot. Posts in a posting slot are published starting from the first post at pre-defined times.
  • Add to Front of Posting Slot
    • Adds the post to the very beginning of the posting slot. This is useful when you want to post immediately at the next available slot. Posts that were already in the slot will shift back by one position.
  • Save as Draft
    • You can post it later.

Scheduling Regular Posts

You can schedule regular posts (not replies or reposts) using the following method:

  1. Click the [Post] button in the menu.
  2. Set up your post content.
  3. Specify the post date and time, click [], and from the displayed menu, select either [Schedule Post], [Add to Front of Posting Slot], or [Add to Posting Slot], then click the button.

Checking Scheduled Posts

Once a post is scheduled, it appears in "Scheduled Posts" until it is published. It will not appear there if you selected "Post Now".

Editing Scheduled Posts

  1. From the menu, click [Post] and select [Scheduled Posts].
  2. Click the [pencil icon (Edit)] for the post you want to edit.
  3. Edit the post.
  4. Once editing is complete, click [Save].

Changing the Scheduled Date and Time of a Post

  1. From the menu, click [Post] and select [Scheduled Posts].
  2. For the post whose scheduled date and time you want to change, click the part where the time is displayed. For posts added to a posting slot, you cannot click the time, so click the [pencil icon (Edit)].
  3. Select the desired date and time, then click [Change].

Posting a Scheduled Post Immediately

  1. From the menu, click [Post] and select [Scheduled Posts].
  2. Click the [paper airplane icon] in the bottom right corner of the post you want to publish immediately.
  3. After confirming the message [Post now?], click [Post Now].

Moving a Scheduled Post to Drafts

  1. From the menu, click [Post] and select [Scheduled Posts].
  2. Click [...] displayed in the bottom right corner of the post you want to move back to drafts.
  3. Click [Move to Drafts].

Deleting a Scheduled Post

  1. From the menu, click [Post] and select [Scheduled Posts].
  2. Click the [trash can icon (Delete)] for the post you want to delete.
  3. After confirming the message [Delete post? This action cannot be undone], click [Delete].

You can schedule reposts of your own posts and others' posts.

Scheduling Reposts/Replies (Scheduled Reposts/Scheduled Replies) (X (formerly Twitter) only)

You can schedule reposts and replies by opening the post form from the screens below.

For reposts, if you enter a comment, it will be a Quote Post (Quote Tweet). If you do not enter a comment, it will be a regular Repost (Retweet).

Opening the Post Form from Post History

You can repost or reply to your own posts.

  1. From the menu, open [Post] → [Post History].
  2. Click the [Repost/Quote Post] or [Reply] icon in the bottom right corner of the post you want to reply to or repost (retweet).

Opening the Post Form from the Inbox

You can repost or reply to posts collected by the Keyword Monitor or to @mentions.

  1. On the Inbox screen, click the [Repost] button for the post you want to repost.
  2. For a Quote Repost, enter your comment enclosed in quotation marks "". If you do not enter a comment, it will be a regular Repost (Retweet).

Opening the Post Form from the X (formerly Twitter) Screen

By using the extension, you can display a SocialDog screen-opening button on the X (formerly Twitter) screen and repost or reply to any post.

  1. Install the SocialDog browser extension.
    1. For details, see Using X (formerly Twitter) conveniently with the SocialDog browser extension.
  2. Display the post on X (formerly Twitter) that you want to reply to.
  3. For a repost, click the repost icon displayed below the post and then click [Repost with SocialDog]. For a reply, click the SocialDog icon.

The following types of posts cannot be scheduled for reposting:

  • Posts that have not yet been published (scheduled posts)
  • Posts from private accounts
  • Posts that have been edited after publication

The following types of posts cannot be scheduled for replying:

  • Posts that have not yet been published (scheduled posts)

Plan-Specific Limits

  • Number of scheduled posts that can be set simultaneously
    • Free Plan: 10 posts per social media account
    • Personal Plan: 30 posts per social media account
    • Professional Plan: Unlimited
    • Business Plan: Unlimited
    • Enterprise Plan: Unlimited
tip

For scheduled posts in thread format, each post within the thread is not counted towards the plan-specific limit on the number of scheduled posts.
