This section describes how to schedule posts.

Post Overview

Simultaneous Posting to Multiple Social Media Platforms

  • You can post simultaneously to multiple social media platforms, such as X and Threads. Even when posting simultaneously, you can change the content for specific items for each social profile.
tip

Instagram Stories posts do not support simultaneous posting.

How to Specify Post Time

You can specify the timing of your posts using the following methods:

  • Post now
    • Posts immediately. It will not appear in Scheduled posts.
  • Schedule post
    • Posts at the specified date and time. You can schedule up to 1 year and 6 months in advance.
  • Add to queue
    • Adds to the front of the next available posting time slot. Posts from posting times are published from the front of the queue at the pre-specified times.
  • Add to front of queue
    • Adds to the front of the posting times queue. This is useful when you want to post immediately in the next posting time slot. Posts already in the queue will shift back one by one.
  • Save as a draft
    • You can post it later.

Scheduling Regular Posts

You can schedule regular posts, not Replies or Reposts, using the following method:

  1. Click the [Post] button in the menu.
  2. Set your post content.
  3. Specify the post date and time, click [], select either [Schedule post], [Add to front of queue], or [Add to queue] from the displayed menu, and then click the button.

Checking Scheduled Posts

When you schedule a post, it will appear in Scheduled posts until it is published. If you select "Post now", it will not be displayed.

Editing Scheduled Posts

  1. From the menu, click [Post] and select Scheduled posts.
  2. Click the [Pencil icon (Edit)] for the post you want to edit.
  3. Edit the post.
  4. After editing, click [Save].

Changing the Post Date and Time for Scheduled Posts

  1. From the menu, click [Post] and select Scheduled posts.
  2. For the post whose date and time you want to change, click the section where the time is displayed. If the post was added to a posting time slot, you cannot click the time, so click the [Pencil icon (Edit)] instead.
  3. Select the desired date and time, then click [Change].

Posting a Scheduled Post Now

  1. From the menu, click [Post] and select Scheduled posts.
  2. Click the [Paper airplane icon] in the lower right corner of the post you want to post now.
  3. Confirm the message [Post now?], then click [Post now].

Converting a Scheduled Post to a Draft

  1. From the menu, click [Post] and select Scheduled posts.
  2. Click [...] displayed in the lower right of the post you want to convert back to a draft.
  3. Click [Move to Drafts].

Deleting Scheduled Posts

  1. From the menu, click [Post] and select Scheduled posts.
  2. Click the [Trash can icon (Delete)] for the post you want to delete.
  3. Confirm the message [Delete post? This operation cannot be undone], then click [Delete].

You can schedule Reposts of your own posts or other people's posts.

Scheduling Reposts and Replies (Scheduled Reposts/Scheduled Replies) (X (Twitter) only)

By opening the post form on the following screens, you can schedule Reposts and Replies.

For Reposts, if you enter a comment, it will become a Quote Post (Quote Tweet). If you do not enter a comment, it will be a regular Repost (Retweet).

Opening the Post Form from Post history

You can Repost or Reply to your own posts.

  1. From the menu, open [Post] → Post history.
  2. Click the [Repost/Quote Post] or [Reply] icon in the lower right of the post you want to Reply to or Repost (Retweet).

Opening the Post Form from the Inbox

You can Repost or Reply to posts collected by Keyword Monitor or @tweets.

  1. On the Inbox screen, click the [Repost] button for the post you want to Repost.
  2. For a Quote Repost, enter your comment enclosed in quotation marks. If you do not enter a comment, it will be a regular Repost (Retweet).

Opening the Post Form from the X (Twitter) Screen

By using the extension, you can display a button to open the SocialDog screen on the X (Twitter) screen, allowing you to Repost or Reply to any post.

  1. Install the SocialDog browser extension.
    1. For details, please refer to Using X (Twitter) Conveniently with SocialDog's Browser Extension.
  2. Display the post you want to Reply to on X (Twitter).
  3. For a Repost, click the Repost icon displayed below the post, then click [Repost with SocialDog]. For a Reply, click the SocialDog icon.

The following posts cannot be scheduled for Reposts:

  • Posts not yet published (scheduled posts)
  • Posts from private Accounts
  • Posts edited after publishing

The following posts cannot be scheduled for Replies:

  • Posts not yet published (scheduled posts)

Plan Restrictions

  • Number of scheduled posts that can be set simultaneously
    • Free Plan: 10 per Social profile
    • Personal Plan: 30 per Social profile
    • Professional Plan: Unlimited
    • Business Plan: Unlimited
    • Enterprise plan: Unlimited
tip

For scheduled posts in thread format, each post within the thread is not counted toward the scheduled post limit per Plan.
