This page explains how to install the SocialDog smartphone app (iOS / Android) and lists features not supported by the app.

Unsupported Operations and Features in the App Version

  • General
    • Connect X (Twitter) Accounts
      • X (Twitter) accounts can be connected in the app only if both of the following conditions are met:
        • The team you belong to is only one.
        • Your role in that team is [Owner] for Manage Team Members.
    • Instagram and Facebook related features
      • CSV Download
      • Paid Plan Subscription
      • Enabling/Disabling Two-Factor Authentication (login with 2FA is supported)
      • Changing Team Settings
  • Analytics
    • Post Performance
    • Benchmarks
  • Inbox
    • Editing/Deleting Keyword Monitors
      • Keywords added to Keyword Monitors cannot be edited, but new keywords can be added to Keyword Monitors.
    • Applying Advanced Filters
  • Followers
  • Posts
    • Calendar
    • Bulk Scheduling (Bulk Import)
    • Hashtag Search
    • Post Calendar Sharing

How to Check the Version

  1. Launch the app.
  2. Tap the account icon to open the menu.
  3. Tap the [Gear icon] at the bottom of the menu. App Settings Screen
  4. Check the value "version xx.xx-xxxxx" displayed at the bottom. Version Confirmation Screen
