Security

This document explains the information security measures implemented by SocialDog.

ISO27001 (ISMS) Certification

SocialDog Inc. has obtained ISO27001 (ISMS) certification, an international standard also acquired by publicly listed companies, and operates in accordance with strict security standards.

tip

ISO27001 (ISMS) certification is an international standard for protecting information assets and ensuring the appropriate security of an organization. It is also referred to as Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Communication Security

To prevent third parties from eavesdropping on or tampering with communications, data is encrypted using SSL/TLS for all pages and all communications.

Data Backup

Customer data is constantly backed up in preparation for any failures. We have established a system to restore data even if it is lost due to human error by system administrators.

Highly Secure and Reliable Data Centers

SocialDog operates on a domestic data center (Tokyo region) of "Google Cloud Platform (GCP)," a cloud service operated by Google Inc. GCP is utilized by many customers worldwide and is protected by extremely high reliability and world-class security.

For more information on GCP security, please refer to the GCP website.

However, some data, such as payment and authentication system data, may be stored outside of GCP's domestic data centers.

Credit Card Information Security

Credit card information is strictly managed by Stripe Inc., a highly reliable international payment platform that complies with the industry-standard security benchmark PCI DSS and is a PCI Level 1 service provider. We do not store credit card information.

SNS IDs and Passwords

Customer SNS account data is obtained and updated using a mechanism called "OAuth." There is no need to register your SNS account password with SocialDog, eliminating the risk of password leakage.
