Things to watch out for to avoid X account suspension or restrictions.
This page outlines precautions to take to avoid account suspension or restrictions on X (formerly Twitter).
Precautions for X (Twitter)
First, please review the rules of use published by X (Twitter). It is crucial to adhere to these rules.
Following
- When following users, narrow your focus to those likely to be interested in your account. If followed users find your actions unpleasant or perceive them as spam, they may block or report you. A high number of spam reports can lead to account suspension.
- Avoid performing large-scale follow actions at once. As a guideline, it is recommended to limit daily follows to approximately 10% of your follower count.
Unfollowing
- Avoid unfollowing users within a few weeks of following them. Mass unfollowing solely because a follow was not reciprocated is considered "follow churn" and is prohibited by X (Twitter) rules.
- Avoid performing large-scale unfollow actions at once. As a guideline, it is recommended to limit daily unfollows to approximately 10% of your follower count or around 400.
Posting
- When posting content that may not be suitable for all audiences, such as sexually explicit material, there is a high likelihood that recipients will find it unpleasant. It is advisable to restrict your audience and avoid causing discomfort.
- Posting URLs from the same domain repeatedly significantly increases the likelihood of being flagged as spam. It is recommended to avoid posting URLs from the same domain excessively.
- Distribute valuable information to your followers. If the number of likes or reposts is low relative to your follower count, review your post content.
Registering a Mobile Phone Number
-
X (Twitter) allows you to register a mobile phone number to your account. Registering a phone number can help prevent account locks, so it is recommended. For registration instructions, please refer to X (Twitter) Help: How to Add a Phone Number to Your Account.
-
One mobile phone number can be registered to up to 10 X (Twitter) accounts. Exceeding 10 accounts may impact previously registered accounts, so please limit the use of one phone number to 10 accounts.

Relationship Between SocialDog and Users
As stated in X (Twitter) rules, users are ultimately responsible for the actions they perform on their own accounts, as well as for operations executed by applications linked to their accounts.
SocialDog performs actions such as following and posting solely based on user input. Operations performed via SocialDog must also adhere to X (Twitter) rules.
