Use the SocialDog extension

Using the SocialDog browser extension, you can directly schedule posts and reposts from the X (formerly Twitter) screen.

Operating Environment​

  • Supported Browsers
    • Google Chrome
  • Supported Social Networks
    • X (formerly Twitter) only

Install the Extension​

  1. Open SocialDog Extension - Chrome Web Store.
  2. Click the [Add to Chrome] button to install the extension.

Schedule Posts with SocialDog from X (formerly Twitter)​

  1. Open X's home page.
  2. The [Post with SocialDog] button will appear in the post composition field.
  3. After entering text, click the [Post with SocialDog] button to schedule your post directly with SocialDog.
    • Other information (e.g., images, videos) must be added in SocialDog's post creation screen.

Schedule Replies and Reposts from X (formerly Twitter)​

You can schedule replies, reposts, and quote posts for any X post.

  1. On X, open the post you wish to schedule a reply, repost, or quote post for.
  2. Click the button below the post.
    • To schedule a reply:
      • Click the [SocialDog icon] below the post.
    • To schedule a repost or quote post:
      • Click the repost icon, then click the [Repost with SocialDog] button.

Schedule a Post with a Link to the Currently Viewed Web Page in SocialDog​

You can easily schedule a post with a link to any web page in SocialDog.

  1. Right-click on any web page and click [Share Page with SocialDog].
  2. SocialDog's post creation screen will open, and the URL will be inserted into the text input field. Edit the text as needed and schedule the post.

Schedule a Post with Text from the Currently Viewed Web Page in SocialDog​

You can easily schedule a post with text from any web page in SocialDog.

  1. Select the text you want to post on any web page.
  2. Right-click and click [Post ... with SocialDog].
  3. SocialDog's post creation screen will open, and the selected text will be inserted into the text input field. Edit the text as needed and schedule the post.
