Manage the team's social media accounts
This guide explains how to add and remove social media accounts.
To manage social media accounts in SocialDog, you need to add them to your team. Once a social media account is added to a team, it cannot be added to other teams.
Add Social Media Accounts to Your Team
- Open [Social Media Accounts].
- Click [Add Social Media Account].
- Click the social media platform you wish to add.
- When the social media screen opens, log in and allow data linking.
- The social media account addition is complete.
- You can switch accounts by clicking the account name displayed in the top left.

If "This social media account is already linked to another team" is displayed
A social media account cannot be linked to multiple teams. This message appears if you try to add a social media account that has already been added to another team.

If you know which team the social media account is linked to
- If you are currently logged into SocialDog with another account, first log out of SocialDog.
- Log in to SocialDog with the SocialDog account of the administrator of the team to which the social media account is linked.
- Remove that social media account from the team.
- Log out of SocialDog.
- Log in with the SocialDog account to which you want to add the social media account.
- Link the X (Twitter) account.
If you don't know which team the social media account is linked to
Please contact support with the name of the social media account you wish to link.
Remove Social Media Accounts from Your Team
- Open [Social Media Accounts].
- A list of linked accounts will be displayed.
- Click [...] → [Remove] for the account you wish to delete.
After deleting a social media account, if you add it again, you will be able to view previously acquired data.
Deleting a social media account will delete the following data:
- Posts set in "Scheduled Posts" (This does not affect posts that have already been published.)
- Drafts
- Keyword Monitor
Change the linked social media account
- Open the social media platform you want to add, and log out from it.
- Remove the social media account from the team using the steps above.
- Add the social media account to the team using the steps above.
Re-linking
Due to security measures by each social media company, re-linking may be required. If you do not re-link by the deadline, analysis data updates and post scheduling will become unavailable.
When re-linking is required
- When the link is disconnected
- Even if the user has not disconnected it, it may be automatically disconnected.
- When re-linking has not occurred for a certain period or longer
- When the password has been changed
If the link is broken or the re-linking deadline approaches, you will receive notifications on the SocialDog screen or via email.
How to re-link
- Click the icon in the bottom left → [Social Media Accounts].
- Click [...] → [Re-link] for the social media account in question.
If you have changed your password on the social media platform, we recommend re-linking even if you have not received a disconnection notification from SocialDog. Immediate re-linking may be required when you change your password on the social media platform.
