I cannot log in to SocialDog.
This document provides instructions on how to resolve login issues with SocialDog.
If You Know Your Registered Email Address and Password
You can log in with your registered email address and password from the login screen.
If You Know Your Registered Email Address But Not Your Password
Please reset your password by following the instructions in Resetting your password | Changing your password.
If You Don't Know Your Registered Email Address
Check your email inbox for any correspondence from SocialDog. If you locate an email from SocialDog, the recipient address of that email is your registered SocialDog account email.
If you are a team member, please contact your team administrator. Team administrators can view the registered email addresses of members registered with SocialDog.
If Your Two-Factor Authentication App Is Inaccessible (Logging in with a Backup Code)
You can log in using the backup codes that were saved when you configured two-factor authentication.
- Access the login screen.
- Enter your email address and password, then click [Login].
- When the one-time password input screen appears, click [Use backup code].
- Enter the backup code and click [Authenticate] to log in.
- i. If necessary, disable two-factor authentication.
- ii. Please note that each backup code can be used only once and cannot be reused for subsequent logins.
If You Have Previously Used a Paid Plan
Your account can be identified by support using your registered credit card information.
Please provide the following information when contacting support:
- Credit card brand (e.g., Visa)
- Last four digits of the credit card number (e.g., 1234) For security reasons, do not send any digits other than the last four.
- Credit card expiration date (e.g., 08/22)
- Cardholder name (e.g., SUZUKI TARO)
- Billing date as it appears on your credit card statement
- Amount as it appears on your credit card statement
If the Issue Persists
If the issue persists, we recommend creating a new SocialDog account.
