Retrieving data before connecting social media accounts

This page explains what data can and cannot be obtained prior to integration with SocialDog.

X (Twitter)​

Analytics Features​

  • Data that can be obtained
    • Analytics data for the most recent 3,200 posts (paid plans only)
      • Post content
        • For Personal and Professional plans, only the most recent 5 posts within the specified period or the top 5 posts with high engagements (Replies, Likes, Reposts) can be viewed on the Dashboard.
      • Number of posts
      • Impressions
      • Engagements (Replies, Reposts, Likes)
  • Data that cannot be obtained
    • Follow history
    • Number of Following (*)
    • Number of Followers (*)

  • SocialDog periodically obtains user information regardless of whether it is integrated with SocialDog, so you may be able to view the number of following and followers prior to integration.

Inbox​

  • Data that can be obtained
    • Keyword Monitor (posts from the last 30 days)
  • Data that cannot be obtained
    • @Tweets

Followers​

  • Data that can be obtained
    • Latest list of Following and Followers
    • Latest user information for Following and Followers (e.g., number of Following, number of Followers, Date joined X (Twitter))
  • Data that cannot be obtained
    • Follower history
    • Date followed
    • Date followed back

Post engagement​

  • Data that cannot be obtained
    • Reactions made to posts of integrated accounts (Reposts, Likes, Quote Posts)

Instagram​

Analytics Features​

  • Data that cannot be obtained
    • Number of Following
    • Number of Followers
  • Data that can be obtained
    • Analytics data for the most recent 1,000 posts (feed/reels)
      • Post content
      • Number of posts
      • Impressions
      • Reach
      • Engagements (Comments, Likes, Save, Shares, Plays, Playtime, Total Engagements)
    • Analytics data for the most recent 24 hours of Stories (after October 7, 2024)
