Manage the team's social media accounts
This guide explains how to add and remove social media accounts.
To manage social media accounts in SocialDog, you need to add them to a team. Once a social media account is added to a team, it cannot be added to other teams.
Add a social media account to a team
- Open Social Media Accounts.
- Click [Add Social Media Account].
- Click the social media platform you want to add.
- When the social media screen opens, log in and authorize data linkage.
- The social media account has been added successfully.
- You can switch accounts by clicking the account name displayed in the top left corner.

If "This social media account is already linked to another team" is displayed
A social media account cannot be linked to multiple teams. This message is displayed if you try to add a social media account that has already been added to another team.

If you know the team the social media account is linked to
- If you are logged in to SocialDog with another account, first log out of SocialDog.
- Log in to SocialDog using the SocialDog account of the administrator of the team to which the social media account is linked: Login.
- Delete that social media account from the team.
- Log out of SocialDog.
- Log in to SocialDog with the SocialDog account to which you want to add the social media account: Login.
- Connect an X (Twitter) Account.
If you don't know the team the social media account is linked to
Please contact Support with the name of the social media account you wish to link.
Remove a social media account from a team
- Open Social Media Accounts.
- A list of linked accounts will be displayed.
- Click […] → [Delete] for the account you want to remove.
If you re-add a social media account after deleting it, you can view previously acquired data.
Deleting a social media account will also delete the following data:
- Posts scheduled in "Scheduled Posts" (this does not affect posts that have already been published)
- Drafts
- Keyword Monitor
Change the linked social media account
- Open the social media platform you want to add and log out of it.
- Remove the social media account from the team by following the steps above.
- Add the social media account to the team by following the steps above.
Re-link
Due to security measures implemented by social media companies, re-linking may be required. If you do not re-link by the deadline, you will no longer be able to update analytical data or schedule posts.
When re-linking is required
- When the link is disconnected
- Even if the user has not disconnected it, it may be automatically disconnected.
- When it has not been re-linked for a certain period
- When the password has been changed
You will receive notifications on the SocialDog screen and via email if the link is broken or when the re-linking deadline approaches.
How to re-link
- Click the icon in the bottom left corner → Social Media Accounts.
- Click […] → [Re-link] for the social media account in question.
If you have changed your password on the social media platform, we recommend re-linking even if you have not received a disconnection notification from SocialDog. Re-linking may be required immediately when you change your password on the social media platform.
