This document explains how to connect your X account.
Connecting Your X Account
Connecting via SocialDog Web Version
- Access the official X website and log in with the X account you wish to connect to SocialDog.
- Click the icon in the lower left corner.
- Click [SNS Accounts](https://web.social-dog.net/teams/sns_profiles)].
- Click [Add SNS Account].
- If the number of SNS accounts exceeds the limit, an "Upgrade" screen will be displayed. In this case, please change your plan.
- A screen to select the SNS account to add will appear. Click [X Account].
- The X authorization screen will be displayed. Click [Authorize app].

Connecting via SocialDog Mobile App
- You cannot create a SocialDog account using the SocialDog mobile app.
- If you are not the team owner or if you belong to more than one team in SocialDog, you cannot connect an X account via the app. Please connect your X account using the SocialDog web version.
- Open the SocialDog app and log in with your SocialDog account.
- Tap the icon in the upper left corner.
- Tap "Account Management."
- Tap "Connect SNS Account."
- The X authorization screen will be displayed. Log in with the X account you wish to connect to SocialDog.
ℹ️ If you are unable to connect via the app, please try connecting using the SocialDog web version. For details, refer to Troubleshooting X Account Connection Issues.
ℹ️ X accounts that have been assigned a role using X's Account Delegation feature cannot be connected to SocialDog. You need the login credentials for the X account you wish to connect to SocialDog.
Features Unavailable for X Accounts with a Large Number of Followers
For X accounts with a large number of followers, the following features are not available:
For Accounts with 3,000 or More Followers
- Pie chart for "Followers" under Analysis > [Followers]
- Results are displayed based on a sample of data, not all followers.
For Accounts with 30,000 or More Followers
- Number of "Fans" in the left sidebar of [Followers] screen
- May not be displayed.
- "Recommended Actions" on the [Dashboard]
- The number of items is not displayed.
For Accounts with 50,000 or More Followers
- CSV download
- Items beyond the 50,000th record cannot be downloaded.
For Accounts with 100,000 or More Followers
- Sorting options on the [Followers] screen
- Only "Newest" and "Oldest" are available.
If Your X App Connection Is Disconnected (Re-login)
The app connection may be disconnected even if the user does not explicitly revoke it.
If the app connection is disconnected, all scheduled posts and report deliveries will stop. Reconnecting your X account will resume the interrupted functions.
When a disconnection is detected, a notification email will be sent to your registered email address. We recommend re-connecting promptly when your app connection is disconnected.
To Re-authenticate
- Click the icon in the lower left corner of the screen and open [SNS Accounts](https://web.social-dog.net/teams/sns_profiles)].
- Click [Re-authenticate].
- Enter your X ID and password to log in.
Reasons for App Connection Disconnection
To prevent unauthorized use of X accounts, X may automatically revoke app connections in the following cases:
- You performed a large number of follows, unfollows, or posts in a short period.
- You posted from an external service without registering a mobile phone number.
- You posted links to a specific site in large quantities.
- Your post content was classified as spam.
