Schedule a post
This document explains how to schedule posts.
Supported Social Networksâ
- X (formerly Twitter) account
- Instagram account
- Facebook Page
- Threads account
đĄ Content that can be posted varies by social network. For details, please refer to Postable Content.
Simultaneous Posting to Multiple Social Networksâ
- You can post simultaneously to multiple types of social network accounts, such as X and Threads. Even when posting simultaneously, you can customize some content elements for each social network account.
đĄ Instagram Stories posts do not support simultaneous posting.
Specifying Post Timingâ
You can specify the timing for your posts using the following methods:
- Post Now
- Posts immediately. Will not appear in the Scheduled Posts list.
- Schedule Post
- Posts at the specified date and time. You can schedule posts up to 1 year and 6 months in advance.
- Add to Posting Queue
- Adds to the beginning of the next available posting slot in your queue. Posts in a queue are published from the first post in the queue at pre-defined times.
- Add to Front of Posting Queue
- Adds to the front of the posting queue. This is useful when you want to post immediately in the next available slot. Existing posts in the queue will shift back one position.
- Save as Draft
- You can post later.

Scheduling a Regular Postâ
You can schedule regular posts (not replies or reposts) using the following method:
- Click the [Posts] button in the menu.
- Set the post content.
- Specify the posting date and time, click [âŧ], and from the displayed menu, select either [Schedule Post], [Add to Front of Posting Queue], or [Add to Posting Queue], then click the button.
Viewing Scheduled Postsâ
Once a post is scheduled, it will appear in Scheduled Posts until it is published. Posts set to "Post Now" will not appear here.
Editing a Scheduled Postâ
- From the menu, click [Posts] and select Scheduled Posts.
- Click the [Pencil icon (Edit)] for the post you want to edit.
- Edit the post.
- Click [Save] when you are finished editing.
Changing the Schedule of a Scheduled Postâ
- From the menu, click [Posts] and select Scheduled Posts.
- Click the time displayed for the post whose schedule you want to change. For posts added to a posting queue, you cannot click the time; instead, click the [Pencil icon (Edit)].
- Select the desired date and time, then click [Change].
Publishing a Scheduled Post Immediatelyâ
- From the menu, click [Posts] and select Scheduled Posts.
- Click the [Paper airplane icon] at the bottom right of the post you want to publish immediately.
- After confirming the message "Post now?", click [Post Now].
Converting a Scheduled Post to a Draftâ
- From the menu, click [Posts] and select Scheduled Posts.
- Click the [...] icon displayed at the bottom right of the post you want to move to drafts.
- Click [Move to Drafts].
Deleting a Scheduled Postâ
- From the menu, click [Posts] and select Scheduled Posts.
- Click the [Trash can icon (Delete)] for the post you want to delete.
- After confirming the message "Delete post? This action cannot be undone", click [Delete].
You can schedule reposts of your own posts or other users' posts.
Scheduling Reposts/Replies (X (formerly Twitter) only)â
You can schedule reposts and replies by opening the post form from the screens below.
For reposts, entering a comment will create a quote post. If no comment is entered, it will be a standard repost (formerly retweet).
Opening the Post Form from Post Historyâ
You can repost or reply to your own posts.
- Open Post History from the menu by clicking [Posts].
- Click the [Repost/Quote Post] or [Reply] icon at the bottom right of the post you want to reply to or repost (formerly retweet).
Opening the Post Form from Inboxâ
You can repost or reply to posts collected by Keyword Monitor or to @mentions.
- On the Inbox screen, click the [Repost] button for the post you want to repost.
- For a quote repost, enter your comment. If no comment is entered, it will be a standard repost (formerly retweet).
Opening the Post Form from the X (formerly Twitter) Interfaceâ
By using the browser extension, you can display an "Open with SocialDog" button on the X (formerly Twitter) interface and repost or reply to any post.
- Install the SocialDog browser extension.
- For details, please refer to Using SocialDog Extension.
- View the post on X (formerly Twitter) you want to reply to.
- For a repost, click the repost icon displayed below the post, then click [Repost with SocialDog]. For a reply, click the SocialDog icon.
âšī¸ The following types of posts cannot be scheduled for reposting:
- Posts that have not yet been published (scheduled posts)
- Posts from private accounts
- Posts that have been edited after being published

Plan Limitsâ
- Number of simultaneous scheduled posts allowed:
- Free Plan: 10 per social network account
- Personal Plan: 30 per social network account
- Professional Plan: Unlimited
- Business Plan: Unlimited
- Enterprise Plan: Unlimited
đĄ For scheduled posts in thread format, each post within the thread is not counted towards the scheduled post limit per plan.
