If posts are not automatically created after setting up RSS Auto post, please check the following:

Has the number of posts in the past month exceeded the limit?

There is a limit to the number of posts that can be made in one month. The limit varies depending on your Plan.

For details, please refer to the Plan table.

Has the RSS feed been updated with different content?

SocialDog will not Post if the text to be posted is exactly the same as or differs by only a few characters from items previously Posted.

Therefore, it may not be Posted in the following cases:

  • The article's Title and body text are the same
  • The URL is the same
  • If the Post content is "Custom", none of the keywords from the article Title, description, or URL are used.

Has the article been updated after registering the RSS feed?

The RSS Auto post feature Posts once at the time of setup. To prevent old items from being Posted in bulk, afterward, it only Posts items where the feed date is on or after the RSS Auto post setup date and time.

For example, if you Add a feed containing 10 items, only one will be Posted immediately after setup, and thereafter, nothing will be Posted until the RSS feed is updated. Posts will resume once the RSS feed is updated.

Does the RSS feed return complete within 5 seconds?

The timeout for fetching RSS feeds from SocialDog is set to 5 seconds. Therefore, if it takes longer than 5 seconds to fetch the feed, an error may occur.

In such cases, please ensure that the RSS feed responds within 5 seconds.
