View and manage post history

You can check, search, duplicate, repost, and analyze past posts in "Post History".

Posts displayed in "Post History"

  • Posts from SocialDog
    • Displayed on all social media platforms.
  • Posts from sources other than SocialDog
    • On X (Twitter), posts from the official X (Twitter) website, third-party tools, etc. are also displayed.
      • Excludes "Promoted Posts" on X.
tip

Posts acquired from X (Twitter) (those not originating from SocialDog) will display "[Acquired from X (Twitter)]".

Checking Post History

  1. From the menu, click [Posts] → [Post History].
  2. To find a specific post, enter keywords in the [Search Posts] field at the top of the screen.
  3. To view posts from a specific period, click [All Time] at the top right of the screen and select the dates.

Adding Another Post to Post History (X (Twitter) only)

  1. Click [Add another post] for the post to which you want to add another.

Reposting a Post from Post History (X (Twitter) only)

  1. Click [Repost] for the post you want to repost.

Duplicating a Post from Post History

  1. Click [Duplicate] for the post you want to duplicate.
  2. You can edit the content of the duplicated post, set the post date and time, and then post it.

Viewing Post-by-Post Analytics for Posts in Post History

  1. Click [Analyze Post] for the post you want to analyze.
  2. The post details screen of the Post Performance feature will be displayed. You can check the content of each post and various metrics (likes, reposts, clicks, etc.).

Copying the URL of a Post in Post History

  1. Click [...] → [Copy Post URL] for the post you want to analyze.
  2. The post URL will be copied.

Deleting a Post from Post History (X (Twitter) only)

  1. Click [...] → [Delete Post] for the post you want to analyze.
  2. The post will be deleted.
warning

It will be deleted from both SocialDog and the social media platform. This action cannot be undone.

tip

Deleting posts on SocialDog is not supported for social media platforms other than X (Twitter). Please delete them on each respective social media platform.

You can check post content and various metrics (likes, reposts, clicks, etc.), and download CSV files.
