Invoice payment (Bank transfer)

This document explains the mechanism and usage of Invoice Payment (bank transfer).

What is Invoice Payment?

  • This payment method involves transferring funds to the bank account specified in the invoice sent via email.
  • This service utilizes "NP Kakebarai" by Net Protections, Inc.

Who can use it?

  • Corporations
  • Sole proprietors can use this service.

  • Closing date: end of month / Payment due date: end of following month

Invoice

  • Date of Dispatch
    • The second business day of the month following the date the charge is incurred.
  • How to Confirm Your Invoice
    • Email (attached as a PDF file)
      • The sender will be Net Protections, Inc.
      • You can set a different email address for invoice delivery than the one used for logging into SocialDog.

  • Invoice Content
    • The invoice PDF will feature a digitally imprinted official seal of Net Protections, Inc.

Billing Timing

With Invoice Payment, the payment due date is the end of the month following the month in which the charge is incurred.

Charges are incurred at the following timings:

  • When changing to a paid plan
    • If a free trial is applied, at the end of the free trial period (the date the charge is incurred)
  • When the contract is renewed
  • When the plan is changed

Example: If you subscribe to a free trial of a paid plan on August 25th

Using a Paid Plan with Invoice Payment

  1. From a PC, open [Change Plan].
    • You cannot apply for invoice payment from the smartphone browser version or app.
  2. Set your payment method to [Invoice Payment], and enter your company name, address, phone number, invoice delivery email address, etc.
    If your company name and other details are not entered accurately, you will not pass the screening by Net Protections, Inc., so please enter them correctly.
  3. Change to a paid plan.
    1. An invoice will be sent via email on the second business day of the month following the month in which the paid service began (or the day the free trial period ended, if applicable).
  4. Please make your payment via bank transfer according to the invoice.
    Bank transfer fees are to be borne by the customer.

Changing from Credit Card Payment to Invoice Payment

  1. Open [Change Payment Method].
  2. After selecting [Invoice Payment], enter the required information such as your company name and address.
  3. Any charges incurred after changing to invoice payment will be billed via invoice payment.

If there are outstanding charges billed before changing to invoice payment, they will continue to be processed via credit card payment.

Changing Invoice Payment Billing Information

You can change the registered billing information and invoice delivery email address for invoice payment.

  1. Open [Payment Method].
  2. Select [Invoice Payment (for corporations and sole proprietors only)].
  3. Enter the new billing information.
  4. Click [Change].

Notes

  • For payment collection agency services, accounts receivable will be transferred to Net Protections, Inc.
  • You cannot use this service if you do not pass the credit screening by Net Protections, Inc. In such cases, our support team will contact you.
  • For invoice payments, you cannot download invoice or receipt PDF files from SocialDog.
  • If payment for invoice billing cannot be confirmed, your plan will automatically revert to the Free plan.
  • Invoice payment is only supported for Japanese Yen.
