Follower Management and Follower Analytics re-enabled

Thank you for always using SocialDog.

Today, we have resumed providing the follower management and follower analytics features. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Resumed Features

If your Twitter Account is private, the following features are not available.

  • Analytics
    • We have made it possible to check information such as new follows and New followers displayed on the Dashboard and in follower Analytics again.
  • Followers
    • We have made it possible to check information such as users you are Following and Followers again.

Background of Feature Resumption

To address the recent monetization of the Twitter API, we have switched the source of Follow and follower information to a joint initiative with NTT DATA's "Nazuki no Oto".

Regarding Follow, Unfollow, Mute, Block, and Likes Operations

We regret to inform you that the features allowing the following operations on SocialDog have been abolished. From now on, these operations must be performed on Twitter's interface.

  • Follow
  • Unfollow
  • Mute
  • Block
  • Likes

With the monetization of the Twitter API, limits have been imposed on API usage. Therefore, we determined that it would be difficult to provide these features without exceeding the API limits.

Regarding Follow and follower information, we have changed it to a format that does not use the Twitter API by switching to a joint initiative with NTT DATA's "Nazuki no Oto". However, since operations such as Follow and unfollow are not provided, we unfortunately had to abolish these features.

We apologize for not meeting your expectations. We will continue to explore options to reintroduce these features in the future.

Note

New follows, unfollows, New followers, and unfollows that occurred during the feature suspension period will be displayed as if they occurred after the features were resumed.

Therefore, the numbers for new follows, unfollows, New followers, and unfollows may appear to have increased sharply. We apologize, but this data cannot be restored.

SocialDog will continue to strive daily for development to provide services that satisfy all users.

We appreciate your continued patronage.
