We will discontinue 'Legacy Post' and transition to 'Multi-Post'.

Thank you for using SocialDog.

To expand our functionality, the legacy "Post" feature, which was specialized for X (formerly Twitter) posts, will be discontinued and replaced with the new "Multi-Post" feature, which enables simultaneous posting to multiple social media accounts.

Accordingly, the legacy "Post" feature will undergo progressive functionality restrictions per team starting June 1, 2025, and will be sequentially decommissioned starting August 1, 2025. We strongly encourage you to migrate to Multi-Post as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Legacy Post Feature Decommissioning Schedule​

The feature will be progressively restricted and sequentially decommissioned per team.

  • Starting June 1, 2025 (sequentially):
    • Creation of new scheduled posts and drafts will no longer be possible in the legacy "Post" feature.
    • Existing scheduled posts can be edited and deleted for one month. Post history can also be viewed.
  • Starting August 1, 2025 (sequentially):
    • All functionalities of the legacy "Post" feature will become unavailable.

* Development and enhancement of the Multi-Post feature are currently underway. The schedule is subject to change.

Differences Between Legacy Post and Multi-Post​

Multi-Post offers functionalities equivalent to those of the legacy "Post" feature.

Changes with the Transition to Multi-Post​

Supported Social Networks​

  • In addition to X (formerly Twitter), you can now post to Instagram and Facebook.

Calendar​

  • Daily view will no longer be available. You can switch between monthly and weekly views.

Post History​

  • Filtering and sorting will no longer be available.
    • * As an alternative, you can view past posts by filtering and sorting on the "Post Performance" screen.
      • * The "Post Performance" feature is available for Business and Enterprise plans. It is not available for Personal and Professional plans.

Multi-Post Feature Release Schedule​

Development is currently in progress, and functionalities equivalent to those of the legacy "Post" feature will become available sequentially.

  • Late February 2025:
    • Scheduled posts and post history will be viewable in the Calendar feature.
  • Late March 2025:
    • The Multi-Post feature will be available in the SocialDog mobile app.
    • Image editing (resizing, adding text) will be possible on the post creation screen.
  • Late April 2025:
    • Reposts (formerly retweets), Quote Posts (formerly quote tweets), and reply posts will be available.
  • Late May 2025:
    • Posting via the Chrome extension will transition to Multi-Post.
  • Early June 2025:
    • Drafts from the legacy "Post" feature will be migratable to Multi-Post drafts.
  • Late July 2025:
    • Posts will be searchable by keyword on the scheduled posts and drafts screens.
  • Early August 2025:
    • Post history from the legacy "Post" feature will be viewable on the Multi-Post history screen.
