The new Keyword Monitor

Today, we have resumed providing the Keyword Monitor. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our users.

With the new Keyword Monitor, you can retrieve tweets that match keywords from tweets posted within the last 30 days (excluding private tweets).

  • Tweets are not retrieved automatically. You need to perform the operation at the timing you wish to retrieve them.
  • The Keyword Monitor CSV file delivery service will be discontinued. Going forward, you can download CSV files directly from the SocialDog screen.

Features​

Search from Tweets within the Last 30 Days​

With the new Keyword Monitor, you can search from tweets posted within the last 30 days (excluding private tweets). Previously, only tweets posted after Keyword Monitor settings were applied could be retrieved.

Retrieve More Tweets​

With the Business Plan, you can retrieve up to 15,000 tweets per month. This can also be utilized for managing Contests where users are asked to tweet with specific Hashtags.

Important: About Retrieval Method​

With the new Keyword Monitor, you need to manually retrieve tweets.

You can retrieve tweets by clicking "Retrieve Latest Tweets" on the target Keyword Monitor page in your Inbox. You can select the number of tweets to retrieve in increments of 500 tweets.

  • You can retrieve tweets within the limit of Retrieval times (described later).
  • The function to notify new keywords via Slack, email, or push Notifications has been discontinued.
  • You cannot retrieve tweets older than those already retrieved. If you wish to retrieve more past tweets, you can do so by Adding a new Keyword Monitor setting.

Retrieval Times Limit​

The number of times you can retrieve tweets varies by Plan.

Retrieval times available in the most recent month (Note 1) (Note 2)​

  • Business Plan: 30 Retrieval times × Number of SNS profiles
  • Pro Plan: 10 Retrieval times × Number of SNS profiles

Note 1: Regarding "Most Recent Month"​

Please note that this is not the number of times from the beginning to the end of the month.

Example: If the current time is "June 15, 2023 15:00", the remaining Retrieval times at that point will be calculated based on the Retrieval times from "May 16, 2023 15:00" to "June 15, 2023 15:00".

Note 2: Regarding How Retrieval Times are Counted​

The number of tweets that can be retrieved in one instance is 500, and you can increase or decrease the number of tweets to retrieve in increments of 500. (With the Business Plan, you can retrieve up to 15,000 tweets by consuming 30 Retrieval times).

Also, the number of Retrieval times consumed is determined by the actual number of tweets retrieved.

Example: If "Number of tweets to retrieve" is set to 1,500 tweets, and the actual search result is 700 tweets, the Retrieval times consumed will be 2.

About Future Keyword Monitor​

We plan to improve the Keyword Monitor to automatically retrieve tweets in the future. Additionally, we will enable real-time display of tweets that match keywords.

SocialDog Inc. has concluded an agreement with Twitter Inc. regarding the use of Twitter Enterprise API, a paid version of the Twitter API. The Keyword Monitor, which we have resumed providing, was developed using the Full Archive Search API, a feature of the Twitter Enterprise API. We will continue to develop features that fully leverage the capabilities of the Twitter Enterprise API to ensure your satisfaction.
