The keyword monitor is new.
Thank you for always using SocialDog.
Today, we have relaunched our Keyword Monitor service. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
The new Keyword Monitor allows you to retrieve tweets matching your keywords from the past 30 days (excluding private tweets).
- Tweets are not retrieved automatically. You need to perform the operation manually when you wish to retrieve them.
- The CSV file delivery service for Keyword Monitor will be discontinued. Going forward, you can download CSV files directly from the SocialDog screen.
Features
Search from the last 30 days of tweets
The new Keyword Monitor allows you to search through tweets from the past 30 days (excluding private tweets). Previously, you could only retrieve tweets posted after the keyword monitor was set up.
Ability to retrieve more tweets
With the Business Plan, you can retrieve up to 15,000 tweets per month. This can also be utilized for managing campaigns where users are asked to tweet with specific hashtags.
Important: How to Retrieve
With the new Keyword Monitor, you need to manually retrieve tweets.
You can retrieve tweets by clicking "Retrieve Latest Tweets" on the Keyword Monitor page for the target keyword in your "Inbox". You can select the number of tweets to retrieve in increments of 500 tweets.
- You can retrieve tweets within the retrieval limit (explained later).
- The feature to notify new keywords via Slack, email, and push notifications has been discontinued.
- You cannot retrieve tweets older than those already retrieved. To retrieve even older tweets, you need to add a new Keyword Monitor setting.
Retrieval Limits
The number of times you can retrieve tweets varies by plan.
-
Available Retrievals in the Last Month (Note 1) (Note 2)
- Business Plan: 30 retrievals × Number of Social Profiles
- Pro Plan: 10 retrievals × Number of Social Profiles
Note 1: Regarding "Last Month"
Please note that this is not the number of retrievals from the beginning to the end of the month.
Example: If the current time is "2023/6/15 15:00", the remaining number of retrievals at that point will be calculated based on the retrievals from "2023/5/16 15:00 to 2023/6/15 15:00".
Note 2: How Retrieval Counts Are Calculated
Each retrieval counts for 500 tweets, and you can increase or decrease the number of tweets to retrieve in increments of 500. (For the Business Plan, you can retrieve a maximum of 15,000 tweets by consuming 30 retrieval counts).
The number of retrieval counts consumed is determined by the actual number of tweets retrieved.
Example: If you set "Number of tweets to retrieve" to 1,500 tweets, and the actual search result is 700 tweets, the number of retrieval counts consumed will be 2.
Future of Keyword Monitor
We plan to improve the Keyword Monitor to automatically retrieve tweets in the future. We will also enable real-time display of tweets matching keywords.
