The free plan now supports X (Twitter).

Thank you for always using SocialDog.

We are pleased to announce that SocialDog will resume offering X (Twitter) features on the Free Plan starting Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

Effective today, the following features will be available on the Free Plan:

X (Twitter) Account Connection Feature​

You will be able to connect up to one X (Twitter) account to SocialDog, even on the Free Plan.

For information on how to connect your X (Twitter) account, please refer to How to connect your X (Twitter) account.

Transition of Basic Metrics (Dashboard)​

You can view the transition data for "Follower Count," "Following Count," and "Follower-to-Following Ratio" on the dashboard in a graph format.

Posting Features​

The following posting-related features will be available:

  • Post up to 5 times per month from SocialDog
  • Schedule up to 10 posts in total across X (Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook
  • View your posting history from SocialDog

Background for Re-enabling X (Twitter) Features on the Free Plan​

SocialDog aims "to create a world where everyone can leverage social media."

The monetization of the X (Twitter) API in Spring 2023 made it difficult to provide X (Twitter) features on the Free Plan. However, we have a strong belief in supporting all individuals, including creators and marketers, who wish to utilize social media.

Therefore, we decided to re-enable X (Twitter) features on the Free Plan, aiming to help as many users as possible leverage social media using SocialDog for free.

Going forward, we will continue to add new features and improve existing ones to contribute to your social media marketing efforts.

We hope that the re-introduction of the Free Plan will be a step forward in further supporting individual creators and organizations. We appreciate your continued patronage.
