Free plan now supports X (Twitter)

Thank you for your continued use of SocialDog.

We are pleased to announce that SocialDog will resume offering X (Twitter) features on the Free plan starting Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

Effective today, the following features will be available even with the Free plan.

X (Twitter) Account Linking Functionality​

You will now be able to link up to one X (Twitter) account to SocialDog, even with the Free plan.

For instructions on how to link your X (Twitter) account, please refer to Linking Your X (Twitter) Account.

You can view trend data for "Follower Count," "Following Count," and "FF Ratio" in graph format on the dashboard.

Posting Functionality​

The following posting-related features will become available:

  • Post up to 5 times per month from SocialDog.
  • Schedule up to 10 posts in total across X (Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook.
  • View posting history from SocialDog.

Background for Resuming X (Twitter) Feature Provision in the Free Plan​

SocialDog aims to "create a world where everyone can utilize social media."

With the monetization of the X (Twitter) API in spring 2023, providing X (Twitter) features in the Free plan became challenging. However, we hold a strong conviction to support all individuals who wish to leverage social media, including independent creators and marketers.

Therefore, we decided to resume offering X (Twitter) features in the Free plan, aiming to assist users in utilizing SocialDog for social media management free of charge as much as possible.

Moving forward, we will continue to add new features and improve existing ones to further contribute to your social media marketing efforts.

We hope that the resumption of this Free plan will be a step towards further supporting individual creators and organizations. We appreciate your continued patronage.
