Issue with linking X (Twitter) accounts
Thank you for always using SocialDog, the X (formerly Twitter) account management tool.
Currently, due to an issue on the X platform, users who are already logged into X may experience difficulties setting up their SNS profiles when attempting to "Add SNS Profile" in SocialDog.
If your X account is suspended, you will not be able to link it. Please try linking your account again after it has been unsuspended.
If you encounter the message "This SNS account is already linked to another team" and are unable to link your X account, please refer to This SNS account is already linked to another team and cannot be linked to X.
If you see the message "This api.twitter.com page could not be found" and the following screen, a 1-hour lock will be applied, preventing SNS account linking during that period. Please try linking your account again after 1 hour.

- Cause: When you repeatedly fail authentication by entering incorrect email address or password on the X authentication screen, X will impose a lock on your account.
Therefore, please try the following steps.
- Open your browser's "incognito mode."
The method for using "incognito mode" varies depending on your browser. For details, please refer to your browser's help documentation.
- Google Chrome Help (Incognito window)
- Firefox Help (Private window)
- Microsoft Edge Help (InPrivate window)
- Safari Help (Private Browsing)
- Log in to the X account you wish to link on the official X website.
- Log in to SocialDog and click Add SNS Account. The X authentication screen will then appear.
- Click "Authorize app."
- Exit incognito mode, then reopen SocialDog and reload the page.
* If you are unable to link your account using the above steps in your current browser, please try linking your account using the same steps in a different browser.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please contact us via the inquiry form with the following information, and we will investigate.
- The name of the SNS account you attempted to link
- A screenshot or video of the screen displayed after clicking the link button and logging in
- The browser used to attempt SNS account linking
- The version of the browser used to attempt SNS account linking
The method for checking "Browser version" varies depending on your browser. For details, please refer to your browser's help documentation.
