Overview of Keyword Monitor

Use Cases

It can be used in situations like the following:

  • Ego Search and Social Listening
    • Set your company name or product name
  • Hashtag Campaign Management
    • Set the hashtag for campaign entry conditions
  • Social Selling / Selecting Reach Targets
    • Set your own product, product name, store name, or product category name

Posts that can be acquired

Posts from all public X (Twitter) accounts within the last 30 days

tip

Keyword Monitor uses the Full Archive Search feature of the X (Twitter) Enterprise API.

You can acquire posts within the number of acquisitions specified for each plan. Therefore, if a large number of posts are made, such as during a campaign, not all posts may be acquired.

With the Enterprise plan, you can acquire up to 50,000 posts per month. This can also be used for managing campaigns where users post with specific hashtags.

tip

Acquisition of posts from SNS other than X (Twitter) (e.g., Instagram) is not supported.

Limitations per Plan

The number of posts that can be collected in one acquisition is 500, and the maximum number of acquisitions over the last 30 days is as follows:

  • Enterprise Plan: 100 times (500 posts × 100 times = maximum 50,000 posts can be collected)
  • Business Plan: 30 times (500 posts × 30 times = maximum 15,000 posts can be collected)
  • Professional Plan: 10 times (500 posts × 10 times = maximum 5,000 posts can be collected)

Data Retention Period

Data collected by Keyword Monitor is retained for 2-3 months and then regularly deleted.

If you wish to retain it, you can save it by utilizing CSV download.

Acquiring the Latest Posts with Keyword Monitor

Keyword Monitor does not automatically acquire posts. You can acquire posts at any time.

Please set the "Number of acquisitions" to a value that sufficiently includes the posts you wish to acquire.

Only posts after the latest acquired post will be acquired, so posts that were not acquired once cannot be acquired with the same keyword monitor.

For example, if you acquire the latest 1,000 posts (consuming 2 acquisition counts) and there were actually 1,500 target posts, only the latest 1,000 posts will be acquired, and the remaining 500 will not. If you then acquire the latest posts again, only posts newer than those already acquired will be acquired, and the remaining 500 will still not be acquired.

  1. From the menu, click Inbox.
  2. Click the added keyword on the menu.
  3. Click [Acquire Latest Posts] at the top of the screen.
  4. Select the [Number of posts to acquire] from the dropdown and click [Acquire Latest Posts] at the bottom right.
    1. You can select the number of acquisitions according to the number of posts you want to collect.
  5. Posts for the added keywords will be collected.

Unnecessary keyword monitors can be deleted.

  1. From the menu, click [Inbox] → Keyword Monitor Settings.

Limits per Plan

Number of Acquisitions over 30 Days

The number of acquisitions (Note 2) available over the last 30 days (Note 1) varies by plan.

  • Enterprise Plan: 100 times
    • 500 posts × 100 times = maximum 50,000 posts
  • Business Plan: 30 times
    • 500 posts × 30 times = maximum 15,000 posts
  • Professional Plan: 10 times
    • 500 posts × 10 times = maximum 5,000 posts
Note 1: Regarding "last 30 days"

Please note that this is not the number of times from the beginning to the end of the month.

Example: If the current time is "2023/6/15 15:00", the remaining acquisition count at that point is calculated based on the acquisition count from "2023/5/16 15:00 to 2023/6/15 15:00".

Note 2: Regarding how acquisition counts are calculated

The number of acquisitions consumed is determined by the actual number of posts acquired.

Example:

  • Acquisition was performed with "Number of posts to acquire" set to "1,500 posts (consuming 3 acquisition counts)"
  • The actual acquired data result was "700 posts" → The number of acquisitions consumed will be "2 times". Acquisition counts for unacquired portions are not consumed.
