This document explains the definition of "inactive" and its criteria.

Definition of Inactive

  • "Inactive" refers to "a user whom you follow and who has not posted for a certain period or longer."
    • Whether a user has "not posted for a certain period or longer" is determined by their last post date.
    • Posts include "posts," "replies," "reposts," and "quote posts."
  • The "period considered inactive" can be set from "3 days, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 180 days, 365 days, or 730 days."
  • We do not determine if private accounts are inactive. Only public accounts are displayed as "inactive."

Inactive Determination Logic

If "Number of Posts" is 0

The account is determined to be "inactive."

If "Number of Posts" is 1 or more

"Inactive" status is determined by comparing the "latest post date" with the time obtained by subtracting the "period considered inactive" from the current time.

Example

  • Current Time: 2023/8/23 12:00
  • "Period considered inactive": 30 days
  • Time obtained by subtracting "Period considered inactive" from Current Time: 2023/07/24 12:00
  • Determination Result
    • If "Latest Post Date" was 2023/07/24 10:00, it is determined as "inactive."
    • If "Latest Post Date" was 2023/07/24 14:00, it is determined as "active."

Data Update Frequency

"Inactive" information is updated once a day at the data update timing, by acquiring the "number of posts" and "latest post date" of followed users from X (Twitter).
