This document defines "inactive" status and outlines the criteria for its determination.

Definition of Inactive Status

  • "Inactive" refers to users you follow who have not posted for a specified duration.
    • This inactivity is determined by evaluating each user's post count and last post date against the defined period.
    • Posts include original posts, replies, reposts, and quote posts.
  • The inactive period threshold can be configured from options such as "3 days, 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 180 days, 365 days, and 730 days."
  • Private accounts are not evaluated for inactive status. Only public accounts will be displayed as "inactive."

Inactivity Determination Logic

When "Post Count" is 0

The account is determined to be "inactive."

When "Post Count" is 1 or More

Inactivity is determined by comparing the "last post date" with the date/time derived by subtracting the inactive period threshold from the current date/time.

Example

  • Current Date/Time: 2023/8/23 12:00
  • Inactive Period Threshold: 30 days
  • Date/Time derived by subtracting the inactive period threshold from the current date/time: 2023/07/24 12:00
  • Determination Result:
    • If the "last post date" was 2023/07/24 10:00, the account is determined to be "inactive."
    • If the "last post date" was 2023/07/24 14:00, the account is determined to be "active."
